Hello! If you're seeing this you have had the misfortune of being commissioned by me, or wished upon yourself to draw Izve Mashina.

Let me preface this: Feel free to tweak things to your comfort or tastes. I don't always draw every single detail consistently and often iterate on the design. There's several bits of the design that have been influenced by other people's assumptions from me not having a full reference. If I'm paying you, I trust you enough to take the wheel, and if you're giving me a gift, I'm going to be excited regardless.

As long as you make the thighs thick and the hips wide and the butt big, you're doing great.

Color Variance

Make the temperature of the body's white tone warm or cool to your preference. Cooler greys look good because they emphasize the machine aspect. Warmer tones, especially beige, make her look like aged office computers from the 80s and 90s, which I really enjoy. I think the beige tone also makes it easier to add highlights/reflections.

Expression Chart

Because she has no mouth, most emotion is conveyed through the eyes and body language. The cheek lines light up to indicate speech. The glow can be used to emulate the corners of the mouth based on their height. The gem glows to show joy. The ahoge float freely, and the position and deformation can help with expression.

Eyes

There are two variations: simple and complex. Either is good! The eyes and eyelashes project off of her visor, so it is fine if they go over other elements. The eyebrows typically are beneath the hair, but follow your own discretion.

Hair

I prefer to have this rendered as a hard material -- like tokusatsu helmet. Its okay to make it soft, or real hair strands. The ahoge float over the head gem. The triangles are literal intakes. Similar hair to Wada Arco's Kronii Ouro design or Minase from Kanon. They are not cat ears, but they can be drawn very large to look that way.

Body

The body is meant to have the same range of motion as a flesh and blood human. You can draw a curvy woman and put the robot elements over her, and are welcome to 'cheat' the mechanics. Please simplify or modify as it fits your process!

Breasts

Treat them as normal boobs. Any size that makes you say "Nice!" is good, please enjoy them.

Neck & Shoulder Breakdown

The neck is very complex. Two rigid cables replicate the sternocleidomastoid, and the spine is exposed. Between them is a clear throat tube that leads down into a cuff on the torso. It is okay to simplify! The sternocleidomastoid is the primary feature, please highlight that and the rest can be a normal neck.

The joint between the upper arm and torso is a two-part system. The torso connects to a plate which allows the shoulder to elevate, flex, and extend. The collarbone and trapezius plate connect externally to this. A thick wheel is attached to the plate where the limb is attached. Movement along this wheel allows abduction and rotation.

The material under the arm is soft, to allow greated freedom of movement and ventilation.

Hand Breakdown

Humanoid hand. The palm has a 'heart' shaped pattern in the plating. The knuckles are a flat panel that sheathe the joints that attach the carpals to the metacarpals. Jointing is basic, look at any mecha hand or an artist's mannequien for a hand for the same concept. This is the best candidate to simplify!
