A thing I wanted to do on streams was find excuses to play Touhou fan games. I spent a lot of time in my 20s fiddling with stuff like Super Marisa Land and MegaMari and I know there's just a plethora of other retro style platformers with Touhou flavoring. Honestly its wild that loads of them are just ending up on Steam as of time of playing this game.

I heard good word-of-mouth about this game so I just jumped into it blind and got my ass beat.

I watched someone play through this game in one sitting recently and I have to reckon with the fact that I'm either really really bad at video games or I got played by selling jewels instead of just sittin on them. I'm willing to accept both. It seems like maybe buying stuff is a scam??? Capitalism bad??? Who would have thought?

That said, getting hit by the Reimu respawn bug was fantastic, that was really funny, A+ comedy moment that I'll never naturally replicate.
